Boothstown Community Centre

Our Infant Orchestra is the first step on a young musician's journey. As part of each session members will: develop their sense of rhythm and pulse through use of our exciting percussion instruments, sing specially written songs perfectly tailored for young voices and perform as part of a group on a number of different musical instruments including; violin, trumpet and recorder. Led by specially trained members of our experienced tutor team, the Infant Orchestra is the perfect welcome into the MAPAS family for all young musicians.

How do I join?

You can apply to join one of our groups online. Some groups welcome complete beginners but most groups do have some entry requirements (e.g. age or standard) so be sure to check which group is right for you.

Membership is only £8 per month for children and £10 per month for adults. Your MAPAS Centre membership allows you to join as many groups as you like for no additional cost (subject to meeting the entry requirements)
