Proud to be LGBT+ Inclusive

MAPAS is working with the Proud Trust to achieve the Rainbow Flag Award. We want a service which is welcoming, supportive and celebratory of people from the LGBT+ community.

The journey so far

Since starting work towards the award back in April 2023, MAPAS staff have all completed training on embedding LGBT+ inclusivity into our practice, have made changes where we can to our physical spaces to ensure we are welcoming to LGBT+ young people, particularly those who are trans, and continue to publicly celebrate LGBT+ artists and music on our social media and in the musical choices we make.
