In the Autumn term’s Primary Music Network meeting, we will focus on MAPAS’ new Classroom Instruments Scheme. In this scheme, schools are able to hire a class set of instruments such as ukuleles, glockenspiels, keyboards for a half term and a premade scheme of work for the chosen instruments. In the session we will explore the lesson plans and work through some activities from some of the pre made schemes of work. We will also discuss the recent Ofsted update and how it affects us as music teachers. There will also be time at the end of the session for you to ask any questions about anything in your setting. A Teams invite will be sent out closer to the time.
