Has your child been taking part in drumming or percussion with their whole class this year? If so, why not book them in for a brilliant day of music making and the chance to play with a regional percussion group!
Children will experience playing in a full ensemble, using the instruments they play in class and more! We'll be building our musical skills, making new friends, being creative and generally having a great time.
You'll then get to hear your child's achievements at an open rehearsal with a massed regional orchestra on Monday 23rd March, at our MAPAS Music Centre.
What counts as a percussion instrument?
Anything you have to physically hit or shake to make a sound. This could be djembe, samba, Cuban, chime bars or glockenspiels,
If your child has been learning along with their whole class - this day is for them!
What if my child has been learning a different instrument in class?
If your child has been learning an orchestral instrument (flute, recorder, clarinet, brass, violin, viola, cello) or ukulele / guitar - they can still take part on the same day! Please follow the link here:
